It’s been a good Christmas. I’m still recovering from Surgery, but getting better every day. Got a few nice presents to help me pass the time while laying up in bed:
Legos aren’t just for kids anymore. I like the architecture sets they put out. Sue me.
Fun ideas for me and the son to do.
Time to make some homemade jerky. And in case I need ideas for things to do with my new ‘toy’:

WHOA!! I have the Brandenburg Tor too! I got it for my birthday, along with Guggenheim and Fallingwater.
This Christmas I got the Nook Color, and Nicole and The Queen gifted me Sithy Lewt! I posted it a pic of it. Also got wine, and bling, and moolah from my folks, and CHOCOLATE from Little One. And from Nicole a box of goodies that maybe lasted two days.
Yeah, the Brandenburger Tor was a cool gift, as I’ve been there. Building it and looking at the pics and reading the little bit about it in the Lego instructions brought back some memories.
I also want the Fallingwater and Guggenheim kits. I really want the kit for the Robie House as well, but that one is $200, so it’s hard convincing my wife to allocate funds. Heck, I want all the architecture kits Lego puts out.
The Nook Color sounds like a cool gift. We went the Kindle route, and we all wanted to get the Kindle Fire for Christmas, but again, just a little expensive, seeing as how much money we’ve already shelled out and the fact we have a trip coming up in January we need to save more for.
Chocolate is always a good gift.
